Task

Definition

By “Task” we mean the assignment of the required input and output of the system, and the activity that leads to the development of an algorithm with user-defined parameters. The ultimate goal is getting this algorithm implemented in a microprocessor.

Basic Task

1.It is assumed that the user of the Portal wants to control a continuous linear time-invariant (LTI) single-input single-output (SISO) system..

2.It is assumed that the user of the Portal is able to describe the system-in the time domain as a differential equation.

3.It is assumed that the user of the Portal knows or is able to estimate the parameters of their plant.

4.It is assumed that the user of the Portal knows or is able to estimate the objectives and to estimate or guess the constraints of their LTI SISO digital control task.

5.Thus the basic Task is the synthesis of a regulator as described here.

6.The basic Task is fulfilled during the realization of the Project.
