1. The definition and purpose of the product

The product is a microprocessor-program system, e.g. ADuC814 from Analog Devices Inc. in which the program is implemented. The program, developed by Little Pine Ltd, realizes the control algorithm based on the algebraic theory of linear discrete control for systems with one input and one output. The program is unique for each customer, see Program Specification.

The program is not detachable from the microprocessor and is protected against overwriting, reading, detachment from the microprocessor and similar interventions.

The purpose of the product is to be a central member of the controller (i.e., be built into the structure the originator of which is the customer).

The constants of the regulator a_i and b_i are generated on the basis of the characteristics specified by the customer when the modelling and simulations are carried out on the Web portal.

The regulator constants a_i and b_i can be generated for the zero or first order hold and for monopolar or bipolar input and output.

The program includes the treatment of the wind-up effect and watch-dog timer. After an unexpected event it will engage automatically from zero states.

4. Pricing

The typical price of a product ranges between £200 and £1000 depending on the specific configuration the customer chooses. In the case of specific customer requirements they will receive an individual quotation.
